Dear ADRA Bahamas Family,
We are approaching the time of year that is the favorite for many individuals. Some love the season as it is Thanksgiving, and they have a lot to be thankful for as they celebrate with friends and family. Others love the Christmas season as it is a time to give to others to show appreciation for them and what they have done. No matter your preference, the season is one that is able to light a spark in others.
For ADRA Bahamas it has been a full and fun, and sometimes overwhelming couple of weeks. Yet, we have a lot to be thankful for as we give back to others.
- We have commenced the work on home construction for persons who lost their homes in Hurricane Dorian
- We have opened the portal for the free, self-paced, Certificate Course: Disaster Risk Reduction and Resilience
- We are preparing for our children’s Christmas gifts giveaway
- We are about to launch our Love In Action Disaster Relief and Famine Offering end of year giving campaign
For us, it has been a busy year as we continue to work throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, but God has been good to us as we continue to help others live the life God intended for them.
As we come to Thanksgiving (November 25), Giving Tuesday (November 30) and the Christmas season (December), I invite you to give a gift to ADRA Bahamas. It can be a one time or recurring monthly or annual gift. It can be as small or as big as you desire.
